Finally watched the first episode last night. I think it has some promise. Not exactly Breaking Bad, but I will give it some more time before nixing it.
At this point in the summer . . . .. just looking for something vaguly interesting I finally deleted all my episodes of CRISIS and BELEIF [or RESSURECTION or Whatever] I gave up on them . . i had not watched them by now. . . i figured i did not care enough to go back and try now Same with the last episodes of THE FOLLOWING Rocket River
Even moreso? NOPE, CBS is that absolute bottom of the barrel, the absolute low standard for TV The other 3 will occasionally come out with a a good show still. NBC has Parks & Rec still, which is better than anything on network tv. Abc is pretty bad, but I watched happy endings until it was cancelled so that is pretty recent. Fox doesn't have anything I watch regularly but their baseline of shows (Brooklyn 99, mindy, new girl, etc) is still substantially higher than cbs.
I gave up on Under the Dome after watching the 1st episode of the current season. The plot is so out there that it seems like they're just making it up as they go along. Hope this show is better than Under the Dome...
Now, hold on a minute...we don't know. It seemed like trash got a whole lot more compacted and smaller. Do you know the costs and logistics of having a chute in every home? Somebody still got to pick that sh_t up, friend. Now, where it goes and what they do with it is of interest. But, I like the idea of having all my trash fit in a little canister personally. Maybe they launch all the canisters into space when they get enough and send it to Mars or something? We don't know.
Shirley you can't be serious? Parks &Rec is better than ANYTHING on network TV? How are ABC & NBC doing on Monday nights? Thursday nights? Sunday nights? C'mon dood. You did see "dharocks" post after mine right?
We don't know... All I know is that they introduced that technological trash canister in order to give Halle Berry a reason to walk out to the curb while also reinforcing the advances in technology. All I'm saying is--is taking the trash to the curb in a metal canister any better than taking a bag of trash to the curb? Someone had to have thought about what this technology is. I blame Spielberg.
We don't know. People not supposed to carry stuff and walk in the future given we have robots and mini-jet powered sneakers? No chores in the future. My bad.
This show really struggles. It starts with an interesting premise but then gets confused and going in too many different directions they have not given you any explaination just questions and the acting is not great either Staying to the end but not sure if i could do another season of it. Rocket River
We tried to watch 2 or 3 episodes but they were just too boring so we deleted the timer and moved on.
Watched "Swordfish" last night. The scene where she shows her t*** is easily the best "acting" she has ever done. It was completely riveting. Can't do that on network TV, so I conclude her best medium is film. Or maybe late night Skinamax. Or possibly direct to the Web at one of those "studios" in the San Fernando Valley.
