Some of his comments, wow. You can really tell how delusional and bitter he is. "I am the maker of rules, dealing with fools," said Parsons. "I can cheat you blind, and I don't need to see any more."
There are about 15 pgs in the NBA that are much better than Bev. I love my Rockets, but lets be real here.
In all honesty I want you to name those 15 pgs. The guy was 2nd All NBA defensive team for a reason.. so please share who you feel those 15 pgs are.
In no particular order: Parker, Westbrook, Paul, Curry, Irving, Lillard, Lowry, Conley, Wall, Dragic, Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, Walker, Lawson, Brandon Knight, Jeff Teague, Lawson, Rondo, and Rose, D-Williams, and Holiday if they are healthy. I love Beverley as much as the next guy, but lets vastly not overrate him. He is a great defender, but pretty bad offensive player. He can hit the open 3 at a solid clip, but is a very poor passer/creator. IMO, he is a bottom 10-15 PG in this league (no knock on him, PG just happens to be the most stacked position in the league). There is a reason that we are in numerous rumors to be targeting a top tier PG, because it is a major hole on our team...
Irving,Rondo,Dragic,Lowry,Calderon Rose,Westbrook,Parker,Bledsoe,Conley Kemba,Cp3,Jrue Holliday,Steph Curry,Lillard 15? I prob missed others, but Calderon/Kemba borderline?
That wasn't the question. Being a PG is a lot more than just shutting down the opposing PG. A PG should be able to run the offense and facilitate for other players, even if they can't score. Defense is just as important, but you can't really have one that does one and none of the other (especially when what they can't do is facilitate/score).
Paul, Rondo, Parker, Williams, Irving, Curry, Wall, Dragic, Lillard, Lowry, Bledsoe, Lawson, Conley, Walker, Knight, Thomas, Bradely, Rubio, Calderon, Carter-Williams Thats 20 who are unarguably better players. And before some dumby yells Rubio and Rondo can't shoot, I said better player, not "fit". Jack, Teague, Chalmers, Augustin, Collison, Sessions, Vasquez, Mills + many more are also arguably better or at least just as good as Beverley as well. I love Beverley, I think he's a bad ass. That being said, he's a fringe starter, he would be ab amazing backup though.
Why would anyone care about who he signs with? He is now a below average 3 point shooter with a F/G% less then 40%.
