Massacre of Gaza's civilians is a bit far. What would you do if you were in Israel's shoes? Besides give up all claim to Jerusalem, move your people out of the region, and give up most of your lands to Palestine? But in all seriousness, for the sake of hearing the other side's point of view, as a pro-Palestinian American, if you were in Israel's spot, what would be your course of action?
The two are not the same. Israel does a lot wrong so I am not denying that. However, there is a HUGE difference between a group that launches rockets constantly into enemy territory and stores them near children and civilians and a group that retaliates by giving ample warning before going in to wipe out their enemy. I am sorry for every single innocent person that dies. I'm actually even sorry for the actually guilty parties that die. I'm sorry they've ended up in this situation where they've turned to violence. I still think they are the worse of the two morally when they create situations that deliberately lead to the deaths of children and innocent civilians.
You're not sorry. How could you be when you don't even understand Gaza and the nature of existing within it and resisting the siege from within it. Your words of kindness ring hollow if they come with lies about the IDF's criminal behavior and misrepresentations of Palestinian society.
Of course I am sorry but I'm uninterested in whether you believe that. You are obviously full of a lot of hate and some of it may be justified. However, I am not the person you should target it at. Hamas is not resisting a siege they are only fooling themselves into thinking they are. They are getting themselves killed and deliberately setting up innocents to get killed around them. No matter what Israel is as an occupying force, Hamas getting children and civilians killed for propaganda purposes is criminal.
Isreal has only one choice: eliminate anyone (and their children and all relatives) physically that is against them.
I notice that you don't like to discuss the actual details regarding the tactics of Hamas. Do you support the tactics (not the goal) of Hamas? Yes or no.
You should read my posts from earlier in this onslaught on Gaza. Like from 10 days ago. Either way, I don't think Hamas has many options, and seeing as how you've been unwilling to provide your own suggestions for tactical changes, maybe you'd agree that Hamas' position is mighty unenviable and surely one of limited options.
Of course it's an unenviable position. There is always a different choice you can make before storing your weapons next to children so that an internet warrior can rant about Israel killing families.
