He's coming back. Whether he does so grudgingly or not is the question or not. He has no leverage. If the Texans refuse to trade him, which they probably won't, his only options are to play or retire and I don't think he's going to retire. And if it really is all (or mostly) about money, which seems to be the case, he's not going to leave the money he'd earn this year on the table by retiring.

I think the reason he went public and held out was because that worked for him last time around. The last time he held out, the Texans immediately caved and made him the highest paid WR in the NFL even though he had 5 years left on his current deal. He thought he could force them to give him more guaranteed money and it failed.

Instead of realizing that they weren't going to give in this time around and giving up on it, he chose to "stick to his guns" and has hurt his reputation and cost himself 1 million dollars as a result. Hopefully, he's learned his lesson.

If he does retire I believe he would owe the Texans money so I highly doubt he would choose that option. Hate to see Andre going about it this way since he is one of my favorite players and his is the only NFL jersey I own. Once it gets to the point he starts losing the big checks he will begrudgingly come back...just hope it doesn't get too ugly and he becomes a cancer in the locker room

Please trade him! Get some nice picks and get the rebuild in full swing. Suck for Winston or Marcus Mariota. Rather have Mariota

That's a very bold statement, but I can't disagree with it.
