Are you a Christian Zionist? It would explain your vitriolic approach to the Muslim community.

No, I'm agnostic. What's a "Christian Zionist"? And I don't dislike Muslims, I dislike the ideology of Islam. I consider it inherently intolerant.

I disagree, however I never said it would be easy.

If millions of Mexicans and South Americans can find their way into the states, Palestinians can find their way out of Gaza or the West Bank.

Ding. We have a winner. Also, they could use those weapons against the morons in their own government who continue to poke the bear. There are tons of options other than doing nothing.

Well, fortunately they don't really have any land so it shouldn't be a problem, most are refugees.

Again, I never said it would be easy, but if the US was doing things that I truly found horrific, I'd leave. If I thought that the actions of the US put my life, and the lives of my family in danger, I'd leave. Where would I go? There's a whole world out there. I have a friend who walked from central Argentina to get to the States....no one is truly "stuck" anywhere they really don't want to be.

Do not agree with you here. I am not responsible for the actions of my government. Seeing as there is no referendum for things like declaration of war, or deployment of military forces. I have no power to change government other than a meaningless vote in a sea of millions.

Just a different philosophy, your way of thinking isn't entirely unreasonable. I just don't agree with it. Besides, politicians need more responsibility for their actions, citizens shouldn't bear the burden.

Hamas just needs to lay down their arms and there will be peace. Not sure why people tie themselves in moral knots over such a simple issue.

This is false and everyone knows it. Not sure why people are so blind.

There is no evidence that would generate peace, and there is evidence that it would not result in peace.

I'm not sure why people make up fantasies with no basis in reality and urge other people to follow it and pretend it's a simple issue.

But for the record, I'd be happy to see them try since it would be a new approach and none of the other approaches from either side has worked thus far.

Hamas has also proposed something new which hasn't been tried so far, and that's the proposal of a ten year cease fire. I'd like to see Israel work with that offer as well.

why do you say its false? Israel has tried many times to give Gaza their own, successful country. They clearly have no desire to be at war.

As far 'everyone knows this', that makes no sense with your second statement. You contradict yourself.

Because Israel has a record of breaking cease fires, and not responding to periods of peace with peace.

Hamas has also broken cease fires but to claim that Israel should be trusted isn't backed up by history.

Yeah totally, that 10 year cease fire as they shot 100 rockets into Israel last week.... good grief.

    Exactly.

When has Hamas EVER laid down its arms. Why would they want a 10 year ceasefire? Exactly - so they could build up their arsenal. Just renounce violence, turn over the terrorists, lay down your arms - and there will be peace.

On the other hand, if Israel were to lay down the arms, they would be murdered tomorrow.
