Dragic is who we are after in my opinion.... He shot 40% plus from three last year, Ariza shot 40 plus and you throw in Daniels....surround Dwight with shooters!
I'd give it to him. The veteran leadership he'd bring would be well worth it IMO. Especially with all these young, less-experienced guys Morey has signed in the last week.
I do not do a trade that includes Patrick for Dragic. You need depth at the pg spot, if we can get Dragic without giving up Bev, then it's great, if not I wouldn't do it if I were Morey. After we give up Dmo or Tjones we then pick up Marion and finalize the roster.
Like I said. The eye test. It's like saying Chuck Hayes didn't give some players fit back in the day because he only had 4-6 points.
Hayes' defense is backed up by a variety of stats. Goran plays hard on D, but he rarely really slowed down Westbrook.
That would be a tough trade-off but probably fair..although with Bledsoe/Thomas they may not want Bev back, so probably could keep him anyways. I'd do Jones, Peli pick, and maybe Capella.
