We already have good shooting we need another playmaker along side Harden

I'll start a thread to get some discussion going. I don't think many people are familiar with him.

At this stage, I dont think we've improved our squad (maybe
    gone backwards a little).

But on the bright side, I dont think most of the other Western
conference has improved either (except maybe NOP, maybe Dallas).

    So it's all square.

But it's still July. There's bound to be more movement by all the teams.
    Maybe forwards, maybe backwards.

I honestly don't think Dallas has improved... if so, it is marginally maybe 6 seed rather than 8. Also, this is assuming Marion doesn't take a hometown discount to ride their bench all year and signs elsewhere.

    DAL IN: Chandler, Parsons, Felton
DAL OUT: Carter, Marion, Calderon, Dalembert, Ellington, Larkin (2 draft picks - Early & Thanasis)

What I like most about the team thus far is the fact they will be better on the defensive side of the ball. This team will be tougher than last years team and the shooting will be better. Still agree with needing another play maker and the team will be set at least to start the season

Good post. Btw, you guys noticed how the quality of posters/posts have improved since the LOFs have left? No coincidence when you cheer for the team vs. a player.

The other viable theory would be it is because Lin has left the team.

No Lin means less posts about Lin, which in turn means less points of contention.

If you want to test this, go ahead and start a thread on Lin,
for example a thread like Lin played reasonably well during the playoffs
and almost won us game 1 esp in overtime. As a kicker, you could add that
    Harden played well below expectations.

I would expect the usual thing would happen i.e. blows up.

Besides, i think there is the odd handful of irrational Lin fans, and they are way outnumbered
by the irrational haters, at last of recently anyways.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

    :)
