The original tweet that sparked all of this said we would find something out today, which we did. I did see that tweet as well, but the night isn't over yet. And other people have backed up his claim we will end up with dragic or bledsoe when the dust settles.
Phoenix signed Tolliver for a reason. The last thing they need from their PF is somebody who'll clog the lane for two of their best players, who basically live of penetration and kicking the ball out, when the defense collapses on the penetrating guard. Without that stretch 4 their offense would grind to a halt and their efficiency would plummet. There's a reason why Channing Frye got that 32 mil contract over 4 years at the age of 31. They're not going to trade one of their PGs for a role-playing big and a pick they don't have much use of anyway. I think they have three of their own first rounders next year, and they'll probably try to trade most of them, because they're already over-saturated with young talent, who can't get enough playing time to properly develop. They were complaining about that and trying to move their picks because of that this year.
