Fly into Spokane and rent a car. Drive north to Canada and eventually you get there. It's a beautiful drive.

I counted Hawaii for one of mine, being a US state. Really though it should be a part of Oceania.

Of course! It's wonderful as is Newfoundland/Labrador nearby. I recommend spending a week there if you like the outdoors. Frankly, anything north of 40 degrees on the east coast and middle of N. America is best in the summer time.

Drove from Houston, through New Mexico, through Arizona, through California (stayed in San Francisco for a week, Mount Shasta for a couple of days), through Oregon (stayed in Portland for a night) and got to Seattle yesterday, I have some business meetings here Monday. Wish I had a passport to visit Vancouver or maybe even Kalso, but I don't.

Yeah, that town looks beautiful. Speaking of Spokane there is also Couer D'Alene Idaho right across the border. It's a nice little resort town good for spending a couple days.

Tennessee is awesome I would do a day trip to Memphis for Graceland and Sun Records. Don't forget Chattanooga and Pigeon Forge.

If we ever drive up there from Texas, instead of flying and then driving, we might check that out. Thanks!

Just got back from Maine and Vermont last weekend. Both the weather and the scenery were amazing.

If you like the woods, green and a small town vibe, Portlands worth a visit.

Excellent suggestion! I've always felt the beach there is overlooked by far too many tourists from Transylvania, the garden spot of Romania.
