When has there ever been a player-to-player tampering scandal? Players recruit others to their teams all season long and nothing happens because it's normal for players to hangout with each other. There's no way to nail Lebron on this, it happens all the time. It's not the same as Daryl Morey meeting with Love, that would be suspicious.

I'm pretty sure they would trade them for picks first

I don't understand how you guys can follow this saga so closely. It seems like a stupid game of tug-of-war.

David Lee nets you 19 and 10 wiht his junkballing style - Love nets you 26 and 13, and is 5 years younger with ability to stretch the floor - that's the difference between a borderline all star and a super-duper all-NBA star. They're not close to equivalent on offense; on defense neither is particularly good.

And it's not defense the warriors need to Improve (4th)....it's offense (12th). Love is a whole different dimension on offense - you're adding arguably the best offensive true big man in the entire NBA to your team.

Would their defense slip without Thompson? Probably. Do they have defensive wings in Barnes and Iguodala who can take up the slack? Also probably. And even if they don't, it's a lot easier to find a defensive specialist to support Curry than it is to have a player like Kevin Love become available for a low price/lesser value.

It's a lot like drafting. You wouldn't pass up on Kevin Love in the draft because you have Lee and he doesn't "fill a need" - you just add the goddamned superduperstar and laugh all the way to the bank. It's not like Miami needed LeBron to complement Wade since they're both perimeter players, but they obviously took him anyway because JUST ADD THE GODDAMNED SUPERSTARS ALREADY

I wonder if this isn't holding up the trade and remaining free agent market, similar to how Lebron's decision held everything up.

Until Love gets traded, Houston, Cleveland, Golden State, Boston, and Detriot aren't likely to do anything else. This means Rondo, Bledsoe, Monroe and potentially others are in a holding pattern.

Did you just say Morey should swing for the fences and wait to make other moves? We should strike out win Love, before moving on to Rondo?

You should say that in the GARM. Good luck with that one.

we need to stop taking ourselves so seriously. We no longer have enough trade assets to land Love vs other Minn offers. They are rumored to being offered two #1 draft picks. He is not coming to Houston, and we really never had a chance, certainly not now that Parsons, Asik and our 2015 #1 is gone. If he becomes a FA, he ain't coming here.

We made a mistake waiting on Bosh, and should not do that with Love.

    This X-1000

Love and Curry will make the warriors close to unguardable, while Lee and Klay results in something above mediocrity but well below elite.

Errr....I didn't say any of that. Just made a point that us and other teams probably won't make any moves until the Love situation is resolved.

You just said it again!! :p

Try to say that in the GARM. ppl are crucifying Morey over there for waiting on the Lebron and Bosh decisions to losing other options.

I would not have any fear of a team being led by Curry and Love.

Pick up the slack? Yeah that slack isn't making the Warriors any better buddy.

Kevin Love doesn't help them enough unless Corey Brewer is thrown in, which won't happen. Sorry.

Kevin Love isn't James Harden, guardable and don't play defense. Love is unguardable on offense and un-box-outable on defense, the best outlet passer in the game.

People will continue to underrate Kevin Love but the guy is money on both ends of the floor.

    It's good to have J.R. Robo-Poster back.

If someone else tries to post breaking news, J.R. kicks down the door, weapon aimed:

"Do not post or...there...will be....trouble. Your move, creep."

So much for Lubrahn's letter saying it would take awhile before the Cavs were ready to win. LOL

    Kyrie/Waiters/Lebron/Love/Sideshow
with Ray Allen and Marion coming off the bench.

No reason that team can't win the East.

James Harden lead his team to the playoffs without another all-star. Kevin Love is a bonafide loser and needs to team up with Lebron and Irving to get to the playoffs. :)

Some how I believe that when we revise this trade in the future, Minnesota will be the real winners.

Wiggins will change the course of the team, and its outlook is very bright. And while Love will extend with the Cavs, the Timberwolves who were looking at losing Love for nothing at the end of this season ended up getting 2 first picks overall and a future 1st round protected...
