What is our GM doing? At a lost, swings for the fence and then starts signing every D league player that has play for the Rockets. Sad state of affairs in the former Clutch City!
Shh...if you start speaking sense around here you'll be labeled a hater and told to root for a team. The Salem witch hunt is in full force. There's red guards everywhere.
These type of signings make sense to me. If you are wanting to have the cream rise to the top, you have multiple applicants who push each other to be that best. So these signings will, hopefully, make the choices, come cut time, clearer, or at least made off the best efforts of the competitors at each position. All these guys would like to make the roster. And since the buzzword going into this season is DEFENSE, you can bet that is one skill they should all be putting forward. PG and PF positions should be competitive. It isn't foolproof but it's better than only one guy auditioning, thinking he has the spot all to himself. Unless Capela really messes up, and assuming he is signed, I think he will have an edge in making the roster just on sheer athletic abilities and potential. (Boozer just got picked up a half hour or so ago by the Lakers.)
It's become a joke Roxs are the laughing stock of the NBA right now. Ish has no outside game he's horrible behind the arc I hate Boshhhhh !!!!!!!

Unfortunately for Houston, he shot an abysmal four percent on three-pointers last season while only attempting 0.3 threes per game. Clearly, shooting is not his strong suit. source: http://hoopshabit.com/2014/07/17/houston-rockets-reach-deal-ish-smith/
