I don't mind Ish as third string but a PG tandem of Beverly and Ish isn't capable of competing in the playoffs in the west
They have to know this. That's why I think a trade has to be coming... why would we be compiling a glut of mediocre guards, otherwise? Could be wrong, but it's really the only thing that makes sense to me right now. I don't know how much trade value Canaan has (if any), but I could maaaaaaybe see him being moved and somebody else coming in to back Bev, or a better starting PG coming in and moving Bev to the bench. But I have a really hard time seeing Ish or Canaan as anything more than 3rd string. Meh.
Ok. I guess I will just wait for the next year, and the next year and the next. Sigh......As a long time Rockets fan, I'm tired of this s!!t. Guess it could be worse.
lol, this is great..... Only thing better would be if all these guys get traded again to bring in the 1 elite player we need, lol.
Interesting. This means that if we wanted to we could renounce the Lin TPE and open up some cap room. Of course the only reason we would do that is for Bledsoe or Monroe (Bledsoe more likely). If we got rid of both DMO and TJones, we could offer $12.5 million based on our currently signed players (minus non-guaranteeds excluding Covington or Beverley). If we keep one of DMo/TJones, subtract $1 million. If we keep both, subtract $2 million.
If I was McHale, I would have to start wondering, when Morey is done signing old players, will he start signing old coaches. JVG???
Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. Lol can somebody make a "We're Coming Home" wallpaper with all of these former rockets back because it seems that's what the new theme for this upcoming season is.
