Rubio wants the max and you think Morey would want to trade for him?

Rubio isn't a max guy, so no chance.

Yep. The key being that his agent is Dan Fegan so he'll probably get the max somewhere, and we'd just have another Parsons situation on our hands.

    Cyberx,

Give us a few names you think the rockets would be interested in that we could "afford"? Thanks.

Goran would be a great fit here. If Dwight runs pick and roll properly.

How could you leave off Ed Davis?

Is Lin taking Kendall Marshall's minutes?

I feel like we should talk about the joke that is the Lakers management more often, this off-season has been rough for Rockets fans, it's nice to remember that it could always be a LOT worse.

They have to improve by 20+ games over last year. to make the playoffs. will be tough...

That being said, they're a 5 seed in the east.

PF would still be the weak spot. D is too defensively challenged to be a starting pf in the western conference

Really? DMo would be an upgrade defensively over Jones actually and a pretty big upgrade at that. His only potential problem would be foul trouble and stamina.

Exactly. Sure we look foolish because we were VERY close to getting bosh and parsons.

At the end of the day, it's much better to have that, then to throw away a year as a bet on free agency, and then barely be in the conversation for many of the elite free agents.

Plowman has been CONFIRMED. Even if you aren't a KINGDrew guy you have to admit there is some smoke here...

What PG has the most traction? GOGI berries is the consensus but Cybermaster doesn't see it.

Well Nash is in such horrible shape I don't know that Lin won't be the starter there, and even if he's not he would get a serious chunk of time. Honestly, it's a pretty good position for him to be in. Not a Lin fan btw, just hypothesizing.

Montejunas might be as bad as Harden or worse on the defensive end. That's why I wasn't tripping with the Greg Monroe rumors earlier this week. It seems like a given that T. Jones will be involved in whatever trade that happens so even though Monroe would clog the paint, Aldridge ain't dropping 40 on him. He's over matched at center but has great size and length for a pf. But if D mo is our starting pf when the season starts look for new pf all stars cause every pf will have a field day with him

For sure - Lin will start with KB in the back court.
