PlayStation 4 Thread

In case anybody has an extra beta code, I would greatly appreciate one. I want to see if I like the FPS experience any better on the PS4 than I did on the PS3. I just preferred the feel on the 360, and I am thinking about going the same route this gen. Getting a beta code will be a perfect way for me to give it a legit chance prior to making a decision to get Destiny on either the PS4 or the Xbox One.

 

If anyone has an extra beta key for PS4 ill take it!

Has anyone received their Destiny codes yet? I believe it starts tomorrow and I still haven't got mine. Did receive an email a couple days ago asking me to verify what systems I needed the code for.

 

I don't think anyone's gotten one yet. The beta doesn't start until noon CST, my best guess is they'll start sending out keys either tonight, or around 10AM tomorrow (8am PST).

 

Ah I see. I thought it started at midnight for some reason. I lucked out and got the day off tomorrow so I'm going to do some exploring. :grin:

 

The site says they come out tomorrow.

 

Dammit.....I miss my PS4!

 

More friends with PS4s than Xbox 1s...but Im getting codes for both systems...will share after friends are done feasting.

 

Happy Destiny Beta day y'all. Bungie's site and the store are being hammered. Trying to download the game now.

 

Did you just get the psnetwork to come up? I'm not having any luck

 

Apparently psn network is having trouble handling the load. Not surprising. Still just trying to get my damn codes

 

Spam refresh homies. For the keys I recommend going to Bungie.net and just refreshing the page.

 

Haha well I got it to come up but now It says not avaliable to purchase.

 

Where do i get my code? I thought they would email it to me.

 

You can wait for that if you like; otherwise just go to Bungie.net and log in. Click your name in the top right corner, go to profile, then click "codes". It may not pop up with anything immediately, just give it a few for all of it's scripting to run, then you should see your codes listed.

 

Yeah, it's just their site being stupid. When I initially got the download it kept telling me it was locked and I was unauthorized, I kept trying to open it and it eventually did.

The initial download is a very small file and a small update. Once you log in and accept their agreement then the actual download begins. It's 10.97 GB apparently.

I went to the PS store and entered my code but it just has a loading thing on it.

Thanks I guess I'll try a few times more. I was hoping to get it started before I head to work. If not I'll just play tomorrow. Sigh
