Honorable Mentions/Side Pieces were funny. Crowd was kind of dead most of the night, hard to work with that.
All i saw was the monologue. On just that I'd have to say it(he) was pretty terrible. The jokes weren't really that funny if funny at all. I know he's not a fulltime comedian so it wasn't as natural as it would be if say Jamie Foxx or Norm MacDonald hosted. Then again, his monologue wasn't really worse than the one last year with a supposed actual comedian-Rob Riggle. I guess Drake should be graded on a curve but then again I just have to compare each host with the great stuff done by Foxx and MacDonald.
Saw that in the monologue and just smh. He'd better never wonder why people call him soft and teh gheys when he ok's stuff like that. Just seemed like he enjoyed it way too much.
Drake's monologue was just ok, but the bits he did throughout the show were awesome and hilarious. I have no idea why some in this thread thought he'd be terrible. Dude's an actor and was decent on SNL too. That Stuart Scott speech was amazing though. My twitter TL was completely unanimous in praising it, which is something I very rarely see,

Drake has a ton of humility and loves making fun of himself. He's not stupid, he knows his image and he knows he's making headlines every night.
