m This is why I say Dragic is a rental. We can't sign any top tier superstar if you want to resign Dragic.
Dragic is a near all-star level player. If we could somehow pry him away from Suns, I'd be ok to sign him long term and roll with the "big 3" of Howard/Harden/Dragon.
ok Really? OK I think I see what the problem here is. Does some seem to think that Dragic is a Chris Paul or a Rondo, etc? Some here think that Dragic will be like a Durant or a LMA on this team? If so then nothing anyone can say will change that thinking.
s&t's are always possible... morey would be taking a huge chance on baking on a s&t break with Milsap though. To big of chance.
ok Apologize as I may not understand the question right. If you are asking if I think they could be a 3rd star on any team then yes.
what's the likelihood of us landing any of those guys. rondo wants to stay in boston. the other guys are re signing or going to places that take more money. what ****ing superstar is available? if the rumors are true, and if dragic is available, you go after him. let's be real, can we consistently depend on howard/harden to produce each game? parsons got things started for some games. dragic would be a huge upgrade over parsons in order to facilitate scoring not by himself but getting other players involved. it's a way to salvage the offseason rather than just signing unproven international players
Waiting for a Bosh or a Love or a Melo is exactly what put us in this situation in the first place. You get the best talent available and if its Dragic or Bledsoe so be it. We keep on playing the waiting game and Dwight and Harden are just going to walk away at some point.
Any of those guys would be either the first or second star on pretty much any team. When you are looking for a "third star" type, it's generally a lesser star like Bosh and IMO someone like Gogi could fit that bill.
