    1 Overpay Parsons
2 Diss your franchise champion Dirk
3 Sign Hot Dog Eating Champion Felton
4 Secure a free fall declining Tyson Chandler
5 Seal the deal with a washed up Rashard Lewis
    6 Profit

I think this has been over blown. I dont think Dirk cares as much as we think he does. he signed for even less than 30 million.

Weird signing sin e the mavs need defensive wing depth more than shooting depth but its really doesn't matter since its a one year deal.

They need shooters. If they want to put the ball in Chandler's hands at times, they need someone else out there who can shoot besides monta and dirk. They are probably banking on having a season like ours, with mostly offense. You can win a lot of games like that.

He was actually the reason Miami didn't get blown out by 30 every game.

    Miss the playoffs?

ETA: Hate to admit it, but their roster is shaping up pretty nicely (minus Felton and his t***).

We should sign Marion to a one year full MLE.

    Beverley/Canaan/Johnson
    Harden/Daniels
    Ariza/Marion
    Jones/Marion/Adrian
    Howard/Motiejunas/Dorsey

    Solid.

    Vet min or bust.
At the very least don't use the full MLE.

Marion had a really solid season this year, im sure he's looking for a 2 year deal, thats why I think we'd have to pay 4-6 million to get him on a one year deal. His offense, defense, rebounding is still on point, the guy would be a great 6th man. Plus him being older, an ex all star, he would be a great locker room veteran, leadership, teaching our young players, championship experience etc. Theres really nobody else besides him and Blatche left that would fit on our roster worth MLE.

Lewis would have been a terrific fit for us. Too bad he just turned to the dark side. :(

Who else would we spend it on? I am all for giving him a 1yr/full MLE based on the fact there aren't really any better options in my opinion. I'm assuming Sergio Llull won't come over this year, and BAE (hopefully) will be used to sign Kostas Papa. However, I would start Marion and let Jones do damage in the 2nd unit, more defense to surround Harden.

    Beverley/Canaan
    Harden/Daniels/Johnson
    Ariza/Marion/Papa
    Marion/Jones/Papa/Adrien
    Howard/DMo/Dorsey/Capela
I expect Johnson& Capela to spend most time in D-league barring significant injuries.

If there is a better option to use MLE on, let me know, I just can't find one right now. AND we can still use Lin's TPE in a trade as needed.
