You're just spoiled Dwight made his decision within ten days of free agency. It dun always happen liek dat.
Damn. Parsons , he gone. I dislike the fact it was Cuban playing the spoiler more. Guy has been salty like a LOF against the Rockets lately.
But for cap purposes Morey's move with Lin only counted $8.3m. It's also something he could correct later if it didn't pan out by trading Lin, which is what he is doing now. It was a shrewd move. Parsons on the other hand is max and counts as such under the cap. He also has a player option for the third year and a trade kicker.
Sounds like Doc is saying this entire free agency fiasco is not entirely Morey's fault. He always wanted K Love. Perhaps the recruitment of Melo + LBJ (i.e. Rich Paul meetings) + Bosh max offer were all Les Alexander's moves. We all know of his fascination with pursuing (and landing) highly marketable super stars (Barkley, Pippen, TMac, Howard, etc). His pursuit of Lin had Les' prints all over it. In that regard, Love's cache lacks the luster of LBJ, Melo and even Bosh. Perhaps this is what Doc is trying to say here. Just a thought... could be wrong.
I think you're right. I think this site usually tends to underestimate Les' marching orders to Morey. It's always Morey this, Morey that. Morey has a boss.

Yep, he hasn't provided any insightful info with any substance for a while. Don't understand why people keep quoting him.
