I don't think Barca will never care about the Rockets when they have their own huge Euroleague club and one of the best soccer teams in the world. Mentioning England just goes to show you haven't really put much thought into this. The Euroleague final was in England 2 years ago in a marketing attempt and it was a colossal failure. Brits don't care about the Euroleague, they probably don't know who Pap/Dorsey are.

No offense meant, I just think you're reading too much into this.

If he comes, I hope it turns out better than the last Greek we had on the team. Just saying the name V-Span makes me cringe.

I'm hesitant to get my hopes up- partly because he's an international (albeit, a well touted one)- but mostly because he's only "leaning" towards a deal here. With our recent luck, leaning is as good as refusing to come.

Why has Luol Deng signed up to play for Britain?

Because he's from there? Hakeem was from Nigeria and nobody cared about Basketball there either and still don't.

I suppose cause he wants to and of course they'll take him if he's up for it?
Also, take not that I said Brits don't care about the Euroleague specifically. Deng is an NBA player. As far as I know, NBA games have been held in London with success, so they're probably more interested in that.

The Euroleague thing is true, when the final was held there, the stadium was full of Greeks, Spaniards and Russians. Most Brits didn't even know about it and it was barely advertised to them.

He looks like a good spark guy off the bench. Also seems to have a good motor.

Llull is also with Barca, or was. Now we have 2 guys that can help recruit him.

Dare not, he isn't. Nowhere as good a ball-handler, passer or shot creator.

Maybe he was a former Barca player, what he meant.
