Jeff Adrien came on VERY strong for the Bucks at the end of last season. This is a very solid signing!

 

Are you serious... I'm not a hater and think Dorsey could even potentially be an average level NBA talent. But c'mon we are trying to build a championship team around our 2 all-stars. You really think Joey Dorsey is a stealth mode above average NBA level talent? It's a roll of the dice that he is anything better than "Two Sandwiches" Thomas Hamilton.

Smith is not here for a reason. He was likeable, but he wasn't really a good player. Smith's performance against the Thunder a couple of years in the playoffs was one of the worst for a Rockets big man in 28+ years of watching the Rockets. Dude was a real liability on the court, averaging something like a -40 in the +- department.

Dorsey might surprise a lot of you guys here.

 

The 2008 draft got us Artest who in turn got us our only playoff series victory this century. So I'll chalk the 2008 draft as a positive

 

Remember watching him play with us before he was cut... always had trouble finishing among the bigs he always wanted to try and dunk, never got the foul call, when he did he was a horrible free throw shooter. I hope he has improved Chuck Hayes was very crafty underneath the basket again that's a skill you must learn.

And that's going to net what? The center position is weak and so is the shooting gaurd position. That's not really saying much. Who's the 2nd and third best shooting gaurd and center? Noah and Hibbert? Old knees and who at the SG?

 

I'd just like to see a real team assembled at some point...one that wins a playoff series. That's how low the bar is right now, frankly. Just win a playoff series for God's sake!

Looks like he improves a lot during the years in Europe. Last time we signed Eurocup MVP who turns out to be good. This time Euroleague DPOY should be pretty decent signing.
