Rockets to sign Joey Dorsey to a two-year, $2 million deal

chuck hayes might have been short but he put fear into the hearts of the griffins and garnetts. It was fun watching him play defense and very underrated passer. you had to be to battle alongside the fuhrer.

 

I hope that Dorsey has gained some skills since we last signed him.

Seems that he was Greek League DPOY in 2012. "Greek League Best Defender (2012)"

 

Would Andray Blatche have made more sense with this role? Jason Smith? These guys are free agents.

I don't think you're in the minority. Most of us are just joking. The rest of us are just wondering why Morey didn't try his hand at current NBA players.

All in all, classic Morey low risk, high reward

 

I'd say he's solidly in the minority. We haven't seen Dorsey against NBA competition in some time.

 

Dorsey average 16 rebounds per 36 minutes in his second year in Houston. He just couldn't anything else and was lost on the court. Dorsey is a rebounding monster.

Still, I mean is there really any center on the market that is better than Dorsey on a minimum contract? At least Dorsey isn't going to be rusty.

Now that Morey has forgone next season to wait for the 2015 FA market, I'm just going to treat this upcoming season like a rebuilding season and watch at least one of these new signings to pan out.

 

I'll tell you what ... After watching Asik clang layups and half hearted dunk attempts off the rim the last two years ... Joey Dorsey sounds pretty good. How often did you clench your fists and say, "JUST DUNK THE EFFIN BALL, OMER!!!"

Did you know years ago Dorsey actually tried out for the Chinese CBA teams and got REJECTED?

100% true. I got tired of watching him practice his juggling act every time he was passed the ball.

 

The Greek league has two good teams. the rest are like 2013-14 jazz.
