    Because a) he's not a big name. B) he played here before, and wasnt great. And C) He's on a minimuim contract, which means he might only be here for flexibility reasons.

    It's not like there's a lot of guys though. Who else could we have (realistically) signed to be a backup big man?

    I like this signing better than recycled NBA players. We already know those guys aren't very good NBA players. Dorsey has had years to mature and maybe he can be a better player now.

    I thought this was a joke when I saw it on Hoopshype, but apparently the guy was pretty key for the on the best teams in the Euroleague. The Rockets really don't need a center who can do everything. They just need someone who can rebound and defend competently and make the occasional dunk. Dorsey's worth giving a shot to, but I'd like to see them sign some legitimate vets soon.

    Relax everybody. Dorsey is one of the few players who will still play for Morey, or at least collect a paycheck from the Rockets.

    this is a good move for $1 mil per. Dorsey has really improved his game over in Europe. He's a plus rebounding, shot blocking, defensive presence. His numbers are very impressive. He'll come in and give you good defense, 6 rebounds in 15 minutes.

    I know it sounds crazy, but this really was a smart value move by Morey.
