Actually I have a question about this. I believe the 2015 pick we sent to LAL has top 10 protection on it. It will most likely be conveyed but can we trade our 2017 1st before it's actually conveyed? Are we "handcuffed" from trading the 2017 pick since the 2015 pick might NOT be conveyed?
Really....okay thanks. I would have thought it could possibly be a violation of the rules. If (God forbid) we get a top 10 pick and don't have to send it to LAL, then the pick would roll to 2016 so we'd either be committed to sending two 1st round picks in consecutive years or if we were to get a top 10 again in 2016 it'd roll to 2017 but that pick would have been hypothetically already traded.
I think it might be calm because Morey literally spent every hour today talking to the media. Back to business tomorrow... or whenever he has replenished all of the sleep he missed out on the last 10 days.
