There's a short road from confidence, to arrogance, to Hubris. Apparently that road goes right through Chandler Parsons.

So let me get this straight, Parsons is offended that the Rockets prefer one of These guys over him as part of the big 3?

Lebron James, 2x NBA champion, the best player in the NBA, multiple MVP, multiple finals MVP, Olympic gold medalist
Carmelo Anthony, multiple All-star, Olympic Champion, NCAA champion
    and
Christopher Bosh, 9x all star, 2x NBA champion

    Amazing...

Parson's anger is an indication of how much he wanted to be a Rocket..

i wonder if he just genuinely has no clue how the salary cap works.

and someone should remind him he was the mavs 3rd option, they just got denied by bosh and melo before everyone else.

If you're so pissed, then don't follow the damn team any more! It's one thing to be disappointed at how things went down, but every ****ing post, man? The Spurs, Mavs- ****, every team has gone through players like we have. Don't act as if the Rockets are the only team that treats players like assets.

So Chandler's stats vs other SF's:

Scoring - 8th among small forwards which is above avg
Rebounding - 15th among small forwards, right on average out of 30.
Assists - 6th among small forwards, above average again.
Steals - 16th among SFs, slightly below average
Blocks - 22nd among SFs, below average
Shooting percentages - FG% ranks him at 6 among SFs but FT% (18th) and 3PT% (19th) is where he falls below average at the position.
Minutes - 4th among SFs trailing only Durant, Anthony and James. Above average.

    Advanced stats -
PER - 13th among SFs at 15.90, slightly above average
    TS% - 14th at .565, slightly above average
Rebound rate - 41st among small forwards, well below average

Doesn't seem like a 46M player to me...

Who cares, move on from this Parsons thing. Don't need someone to develop an ego that takes away from the team, if that did happen. He wanted to play for Dallas, good for him. Its ok.

A lot of the professional athletes cheat on their significant others. The temptation is too large and their egos are too big.

No chandler got paid because Morey did him a solid for recruiting Dwight by letting him out a year early from his contract. And he got paid the max because Dallas was desperate, they have no building blocks once Dirk retires. Best of luck to him, but I doubt he lives up to his max contract though.

    I can't really fault Chandler.
I bet he wanted to stay a Rocket, and was expecting Morey to match.
He just wanted to get paid. If I had the opportunity to get paid 15 million a year, I'd do the same.

Typical Parson. Has a habit of over valuing his side and views. A small part of the reason why I thought Rockets shouldn't match. He hasn't yet matured enough to take it to that next (max) level. Potential is there but judgment is holding him back with his unrealistic assessments of himself and others. But again not surprise... This was and is the current Parson.

Are you part of the Rox inner circle? Do you realize Parsons and Dwight shared the same agent when CP started his recruitment? Don't you think Vegan and Parsons could've requested to be out a year early considering DH signed and all?

Also I like how you spin RFA into overconfidence when the whole point of RFA is being able to keep your guy if you really want him. Yeah, letting Parsons go into UFA is definitely a sign that the Rox aren't confident they can keep him

If you want to keep Parsons long term you make him a RFA, if you don't care you make him a UFA so he can go anywhere he wants.

Ah. I see the problem here.

    Morey should have said
    """
We are after a __fourth__ superstar.
    """

    Common mistake.

But seriously, talking like this isn't going to help his standing here.

Chandler, chandler, chandler. A few things. Chandler, your shot's flatter than a Dallas chick without her silicon. Cheaters is taped there so I expect to see you on for a celebrity episode. Good luck trying to fit cuban's and your ego in the same room you ungrateful, classless, narcissistic piece of ****. The red jersey with your name on it will always be a disgrace to me. #MFFL? Yeah you're right. Mediocre Forward For Life.
