During this week, I decided not to linger in the GARM --- which ended up being a good decision.

So, I started looking at other interesting sites that interest me.

That's when I stumbled upon a personal finance forum.

In that site, I discovered about a blog called "Mr. Money Mustache."

So, I decided to check it out.

After further readings, I decided to call it my other home --- Clutch Fans being my main page.

With all that said, any other Mustachian in Clutchfans?

If you are not aware of MMM, it is a site filled with people who aspire to retire early.

Lots of good advice. Truly wish I could forfeit luxury and convenience or traveling but it doesn't come easy. Wish I had the personality for it. My fear with that site is that the writer takes endorsements to endorse products and services. That's a highly monetized niche. How do y'all feel about that?

I'm glad I'm not the only mustachian here.

    He has some good advise.

But, like other financial gurus, I take them with a grain of salt.

If I like what they preach I follow them.

I find his advise extreme at times.

But, most of his advise makes sense and can be doable.

I hope you find your motivation to retire early.

Check out the forum to see like minded people.

There's a high net worth individual in that site as well.

So feel free to drop by.

I don't mean to double post.

I'm just trying to share this blog since I want other Clutchfanners to enjoy their life and have their financial freedom.

Give it a shot and try it yourself!

So when you retire early, we can all be watching Rockets game at Toyota Center!

Do you have a link for this site? I typed in Mustache into Google and all I got was a picture of Burt Reynolds.

Thanks. I went to the site, but there are many sub forums. What are the best quality sub forums to visit?

Never heard of it before, so I just read a few articles. Isn't a lot of this stuff common knowledge? I know a lot of people don't follow it; but I don't think this guy's saying anything radically unique (of course, the advice is still good).

    I frequent the Journals subforum.

I like to read how they accomplish their goals and such.

That's my main subforum followed by Ask a Mustachian and Share your Badassity.

If you like investing, check out the Investor Alley and Real Estate sub forums

What do you think of his blogs?

Some of his articles are extreme --- like living on 25% of your paycheck to achieve your goal.

I just read the "About" section, all of the advice is sound, but fairly obvious. Walking is cheaper than driving? Having a cell phone costs more money than not having one? Solid tips. How can I save money while still being able to perform better than my peers in 2014 is what I want to know.

I started reading MMM late last year and I'm a big fan. I've gotten some good advice from his posts about saving money, but it hasn't really changed my outlook because my personality was very "mustachian" already.

The main goal is not about performing better than your peers.

The main goal is to become financially free.

I've read it before, and it talks about investing which is the biggest driver of supplementing your income, but I'm a pretty schitt investor.

I have some money rotting in the bank, but the crazy market is potentially worse for me. Decisions made in Roth Ira not great, just stagnant.

Why not use index funds instead of nitpicking stocks?

Don't let your cash sit in the bank since inflation will destroy your purchasing power.

    Just my two cents.
