Kawhi decided to rest. I'm pretty sure that's where they got an extra spot.

Yeah, too bad for us that Batum plays for France, and we're left with CP25. But his game is okay for international ball. Probably won't do much but hand towels to Durant, but that's useful too.

    Seriously, Derick Rose?...

Glad Harden is out there for recruiting purposes.

Correct. Put yourself in the coach's shoes for a second. Turn around to your bench. Need some offensive spark and outside shooting? Well, you have Curry and Lillard. Need some better perimeter defense, rebounding, *and* scoring from the wing? You have Paul George ready to go.

Have three people sprain their ankles? You have Chandler, who only Cuban really thinks of as an all-star (and some of Clutchfans, of course).

Interesting. A star having played no game for Dallas.

Sad. Team USA going with non-elite players.

Good. I'd rather we develop younger guys anyway. Hell- I wish team USA would go back to using college kids; it would certainly make the draft AND the actual tournaments more interesting.

We would lose because other countries would continue to use their professional players.
I agree with using lesser talent to see who's good enough to be members of the next dream team... but college kids? NOOOOOOO.
Why handicap ourselves when every other country is doing the best they can to steal one from the US?

I would rather steamroll through whatever pathetic teams the other countries manage to scavenge up because MURICA. (And we haven't even been doing that lately) Last time we played in the FIBA World Cup we were a Kevin Durant block away from losing. So other teams are starting to get more competitive.
That's how they like to do it. They treat the FIBA World Cup of Basketball as a tryout for B-list and tier 2/3/4 players to see who is good enough to make the Olympic Dream Team squads.

Happy for Chandler, but somehow I don't see him making the final 12
