Polling for people with access to Dwight as to what his take is on the whole move:

    Did Parsons consult with Dwight?
If yes, did he want to stay or was he looking for a more primary role?
If no, how does Dwight feel?

He said he wasn't upset that Parsons took the deal. I think he realizes the Rockets were willing to spend and pay tax.

He likes it in Houston. We can offer him a huge 5 year deal. I think we'll be okay.

I'm sure Dwight is feeling the feels with milk hair still at the helm.

Ya-- he will opt out.....to get the full max from us. It will be his last big contract, so I am pretty sure that's common knowledge.

    Nothing groundbreaking there..

He likely wants a trade to Dallas and asks Dan Fegan to make it happen.

Dwight is probably asking for the keys back to the ferrari he bought him. He'll have more than enough to buy one now.

He's a smart guy, and he's been around the block. Probably lobbing a call to Ariza, welcoming him. In short: doing what most savvy veterans who want to win would do.

Morey has said...I have my two superstars...And if Dwight is the superstar, he must make do with what Morey is building around him.

Common knowledge is he would have been in Brooklyn if they had the cap space instead of Houston. He also said he would have stayed with L.A. if Phil was in charge. Now Phil is in charge in NYC...

We were not the girl he wanted _ we was just all he could find because the club was closing and it was time to go. I wouldn't be so confident on that if I were you.

That Ferrari was on a loan. Now Dwight prob tells him to keep the seat warm in Dallas. He will be there in 2 years.

I think our biggest need is an upgrade at the starting PG or PF spot. Push Beverley or Jones to the bench and we're in great shape.

Howard didn't come here for Chandler, he came here because of James. He knows that as long as the two of them are here, the team will always have a chance. Role players come and go. I'm willing to bet he wants a third star here as badly as Morey, and doesn't want our financial situation compromised until we do.

BS... He's learning how James is a no defense and selfish player as time goes by.

where is this butt love for parsons coming from? yes he helped recruit him, but are they in love with each other? from what i recall, josh smith went to hs with howard and probably a better friend no? do them not playing on the same team make them leave for each other?

well, it seemed clear on the court that howard butted heads with harden. this is one of the reasons i felt we needed a bigger superstar to balance out the game. parsons is not that guy, i completely agree with morey.
