We need Harden to just not be a liability that's all. He doesn't need to be Paul George or Tony Allen. Just don't be a liability. He's a huge liability defensively, and an absolutely awful off-ball player. The main issue though starts at the top-- with McHale. Doesn't demand respect from the team, has no gameplan being utilized, and awful adjustments particularly defensively.
I wouldn't mind too but I think Morey would. If Lin ever shines in another team he will look ****ing stupid again.
I hope you are joking because Utah will never pull that move, Derrick Favors has way more value than that.
I highly doubt Parsons is getting traded given his high value/cost ratio. Same for Beverley. Asik and Lin are another story. We really need another defensive guard that can keep up with opposing PGs especially when Beverley gets in foul trouble. I wasn't a big fan of it before because of his offensive concerns, but it's clear even with Dwight, we are having MAJOR issues on defense. We need someone like Rajon Rondo to help fix our perimeter defense.
That's the risk. We need to trade Lin to a team where he's guaranteed of failing, a team with really strong PGs and SGs so Lin wont get much playing time. The Les, FO, coaching staff, superstars and commentators... etc are going to be exposed for fools if Lin is allowed to go off for Linsanity on a scrub team again. But I'm sure Morey can get it done.
I am a Jeremy lin fan, who is new to basketball. However, i am not like those who accuse of them when jeremy lin is having a bad game. I tell it as i see it. But what you just wrote is one of the many reasons why those extreme lin fans exist in the first place. Did you actually stop for a second and think about what you just written?
I'm just gonna say two things- A. You shouldn't be allowed that user name. Not worthy. B. you should also should stop posting Thanks
How much defensive help does Harden need? You have Dwight. You are starting Beverley and Asik. Now you need to upgrade Bev AND get a defensive specialist at the 3? How about this? "James - at least pretend to play some damn defense or you will sit on the bench bench."
Again, we need a defensive specialist at the SF position. My prediction remains that Morey's next move is to get a defensive specialist at the SF position. 1. None of the players on this team can defend the SG/SF position. 2. It will help Harden, and maybe Lin although Lin could eventually be traded. 3. It is more likely every team has a scoring SG/SF instead of a stretch PF. So a defensive SF is more important than a stretch PF.
1c hasn't really happened, either. The Asik getting traded thing was easy to see, so you are 1 out of your 4 "real" predictions.
