I can't really blame Morey at all. He made the moves that would have put us into the best situation to build a CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM. He is still aiming for that goal. In Morey I trust!
He still thinks we are a top 4 team in the west, even without parsons, asik, and Lin. "The Articles that state we are not worrried about winning it this year are absolutely not true"
I agree wholeheartedly!!!! What good is "flexibility"when we seem to always get shunned by the superstars, some of them have shunned us two times. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!!!!
"One of the least tradeable contracts I've ever seen..." "Harden, Howard, Parsons could have been good enough..." "Is it better with that core, or is it better with Ariza and the hundreds of moves we can make going forward now...?" "Harden, Howard, Parsons was going to be it... no more moves would have been possible..."
Hell yeh Morey screw these nay Sayers keep swinging for that championship. Your batting average says you will succeed. When Morey does get this team talent at an elite level there will be a LOT of know it all, I'm smarter than Morey morons here eating crow. In Morey we trust!!!!!!
morey spoke about parsons contract being structured so that it's untradeable so the rumors are true re: fegan hates morey?

Structure of Chandler Parsons' offer sheet requested by agent Dan Fegan made matching deal too costly for Rockets once they missed on Bosh
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) July 13, 2014
fegan masterminded parsons' exit out of houston?
Tough weekend (sounds exhausted) Great core, youngest playoff team last year Bosh would have given us one of best teams in NBA Looked extremely likely that Bosh would commit to us Lakers put pressure on us (had three signings that eliminated cap room), we needed to move before commitment. Miami came in at 11th hour Goal is to win a championship, not 1st, 2nd or 3rd round History has almost always shown that 3 stars are required. Trade exceptions, cap room plus "guaranteed" lottery pick Even after all the moves, we are top 4 seed in west Disagree with articles that say we are not worried about this season In position to make trades and improve roster. Turning down Chandler maintains focus on winning championship. Loves Chandler but, all things need to be considered. Howard Harden Chandler is not enough. That core would have been rigid and wouldn't allow us to trade and make a new core. Happy for Chandler (re: contract), but contract structure is almost untradeable. Trade bonus makes it very difficult to move. Believed in Ariza for a long time. Nearly all Championship teams have a perimeter defender. Betting on Harden and Howard. Harden requires a perimeter defender next to him. 3 out of 5 starters are elite defenders Was betting on Bosh scenario (cited vegas odds). Always swinging for the fences. Talked to every FA. Evaluated every scenario. Believes this squad will be better than last year by playoff time. Mentioned troy daniels coming back. Have MLE and BAE. Feels strongly we'll be better by playoffs Nick Johnson looks like a pro. Reminds him of Chandler. Teams that find Chandler win titles, not the ones that pay him! Spurs have assembled a core and put young cheap pieces around them, not overpay for them. Great decision in drafting chandler, but made little sense in matching him.
