Capela to Sign

This is a good thing. He can fill a role as a backup center for ten to fourteen min a game as good as anyone we could go out and get in FA. And this will give him experience.

for small ball. clint can be the main backup. they wont need a lot of minutes at center. some games only one of htem would need to backup dwight

unless we can get a real backup center. they shouldnt cost that much

 

That's one of his strength from what I observed, he got a very good catch for big man, definitely about average even as this young ago.

 

NBA rules they had to offer a contract if the drafted player wants it.

Whether this is confirmed or not, I feel like Clint is going to be a lot better than our other rook. Not a shot at Nick, but I have high hopes for Capela. Clint will be dope.

 

Is this just your belief or did someone else say this? Vegas SL already started and I'm not sure we can just inject another player into the team

 

capela would be the main backup getting 10-15mpg
jones would play center in small ball lineups or if cap is outmatched too much

with dwight, the backup center wont see a whole lot of minutes. so there will be plenty games where only one of them would see minutes at center

i would rather get jason smith or j oneal or stiemsma. okafor would be swell except he wont settle for a small contract

 

He isn't NBA ready. It seems he wants to come now, if the Rockets bring him over he will probably need to spend a long time in the D-League and at team practices.

The main concern with him is his low motor. If he wants to be a pro, he will need to change his attitude.

 

Just for 1st round picks, not 2nd

 

This is exactly the same attitude how we loose Parson, K Lowry, G Dragic. Players come here to play to develope, they are not merchandise to be used for trading purpose soley. If Morrey and fans continue with the same attitude, Rockets will loose more talented players in the future.

With Jones's offense and Capella's defense combined we have one solid pf. It's ScoLandry all over again LoL

 

You just want to call him a bust when his game is nothing like stroke swifts game. He is closer to Thabeet, but he is not slow footed. He is 6'11" with the same wingspan as dwight and a 9'4.5" standing reach. You can guess where all of his offense is gonna come from.
