I think losing Calderon, Carter, Ellington, Larkin and Dalembert and possibly Shawn Marion for Tyson Chandler, Raymond Felton and Richard Jefferson is a net loss for the Mavericks. I am sure they will add other pieces, but they are treading water at best.

Played all 82 games last season for the Jazz, averaging 10 PPG on 45% shooting (41% from distance). Really not a bad pickup on a minimum contract.

Richard Jefferson was salary dumped because he was making $11M per season.

At the vet minimum, he's an absolute steal. Anybody who doesn't see that is letting their fanboyism cloud their judgement.

    Felton/Harris
    Ellis/Ledo/Mekel
    Parsons/Jefferson
    Dirk/Smith
    Chandler/Wright

Dirk will regress significantly and we are back to normal.

They're looking pretty weak at PG though.

That looks pretty bad; I don't trust Smith and Wright especially if Chandler or Dirk go down. I don't think Ledo nor Mekel is ready for big minutes and Felton is still Felton.

Don't forget about the Suns this year; Mavs barely beat them out with their roster last year

Yep, the same fools that are laughing at the Jefferson signing would be happy if the rockets got him that cheap. Sports fans are nuts............

Richard Jefferson is a capable player at the vet min better than Casspi and other back up wings we have don't no why y'all are being so dumb anyone who plays all 82 games at his age and has as much playoff experience and production is a good pick up. ESPECIALLY at that price

Pops and SA spent a lot of time and money teaching him their system but they decided to cut him loose after mediocre seasons.

And Felton and Ellis are the main ball handlers? And that is good?

Monta has already proven himself to have a lethal 2-man-game with Dirk. I think it's safe to say that adding a solid facilitator in Parsons will help.
