About 7 and a half after the Ariza signing. However if they waive Gee, Powell, and Covington they can get to 11 - 12 ish. This is without doing the hard math. I might be off by a mil or two, but you get the gist of it. They have about 11 mil you can count on them using at some point whether it be absorbing short term contracts or something else. Also have two TPE's from the Asik & Lin trades. Can absorb salary that way. I don't think the Rockets will go after another free agent. I think the next step you see is a flurry of small trades that take back contracts that end this Summer. Keep an eye out for a trade with Boston. They have contracts in Marcus Thornton(8.5 mil), Brandon Bass(6.9), and Joel Anthony(3.8) that they will likely try to move this year. The Rockets might be able to snag a pick out of them by getting them below the salary cap.
