Dear Houston Rockets, Don't treat players as assets. I am tired what you did. You won't win championships by doing that. Okay, please just take note what I did. 1) Being loyalty to the players for many years 2) Don't chase big time FA 3) Hire and keep a great coach for at least a decade (You did not do that to Rick Adelman). If you do those three things I said, I guarantee you will win multiple championships. Sincerely, San Antonio Spurs

You really don't know what you are talking about. Yes we are in worse shape but this is nothing to do with 'treating players like assets'. Players are assets, - assets to your team, to your organization. Players are traded and signed all the time.
Dear Rockets, don't make your grand plan dependent on convincing star free agents to sign with you. Just because it worked with Dwight, doesn't mean it will work again. The reason Bosh and Carmelo both stayed is because their teams had leverage and you didn't. The reason LeBron left is because (unlike those other players) he knows he has one more max waiting for him when he's 34, so a shorter contract works to his benefit. The Rockets should have expected Parsons to get a full max offer and either traded him last Summer or cleared the necessary cap to match, while still having enough left to add role players.
Dear Houston Rockets, Make Thirsty Thursdays with half price beer a thing. Also have more bobble head nights.
If anything, not treating players like assets is what cost us Parsons. Declining him was such an un-Morey move. I can't wait til the behind-the-scenes stories come out. I'm sure there was a bunch going on that we don't about yet.
Dear Houston Rockets, Give me a job. Preferably easy, high paying, and with courtside seats. Sincerely, Haymitch
Man, from legit reports, we didn't make the trade for Rondo because we refused to give up Parsons . . .yikes
Since when do the Spurs not treat players like assets?? That is EXACTLY what they do with all players, except the essential pieces. Do you think they would pay Parsons the max? LoL.
Look at how many players they have shipped out. Everyone that isn't Duncan, Ginobli or Parker (now Leonard too) is trade-able on that roster.
