How about GOOD role players who can contribute in win big in tough situations? Yes there are lots of role players, but quality is what we want. Parsons is a quality role player. Ariza isn't bad for the price we paid - let's see what happens. but we need a coach that preaches toughness and defense. Play harder isn't a defensive strategy.

Ariza was good enough to win a championship at SF though. Remember that's what got him his first big contract.

Dude hits his shot and plays his defense in the playoffs. He's basically a taller and quieter Beverly skillset wise.

    STUPID!

Parsons is a ball handler, who moves without the ball.

Ariza is nothing more than a streaky catch and shoot guy. Most posts make me wonder if you guys watch Basketball.

I am going to be sick if Parsons leads them to a championship.
Dallas matches our championship totals, Parsons wins one right after leaving the team.

    I'm going to die.

Probably won't happen, but I said that about the Blazers hitting a game winning shot in .9 seconds as well.

It's actually laughable to call Parsons a "ball-handler".

Makes me wonder if you watch basketball. Neither can create their own shot but Ariza is a much better defender at a fraction of the price.

You had this one chance to add two impact players and then match Parsons. Now we are hoping some miracle trade will become available at the deadline. Because we have a trade exception. And flexibility. The Celtics and Sixers and tons of other teams have that too. The window is right now. N O W. And barring that miracle trade this team just heavily regressed.

If only we drafted Kawhi instead of Marcus Morris

If only we drafted Deandre Jordan instead of Joey Dorsey

If only we kept Nicolas Batum

    Hindsight is 20/20

Seeing as how the Clips got better, the Spurs are still dominant, and the Thunder are still strong I don't see that happening. Oh, and there's Houston too. There are a ton of teams in Dallas' way.

The biggest reason Houston didn't advance is because one of our "regular season superstar" players wasn't a superstar in the playoffs.

Also the Lack of a true PG...

I mean there was Lin...some nights he was a good PG other nights he was...I'm not sure what he was doing.

I feel like Arya Stark. My list of people is growing this offseason. Chandler, Bosh, Cuban...

I understand they did what they felt they needed to do, but I will not allow that to come between me and my irrational rage.

Well our biggest weakness is now we only have 1 proven playmaker on the perimeter.

    Rondo, where art tho?
