In years like this where there's big chips on the table, yes...

    This offseason..it was a disaster.

Everything that could go wrong, did...

Harden was a good move and getting Howard (just cause we got Harden) was a good move...

But I can certainly see....another season of 1 and done, Harden getting antsy..leaving...Howard getting real Orlando-like and leaving too.

Wasting years on hoping you can talk someone into coming here.

Not saying it will happen, but I can see it.

Saving for the Ferrari two years from now, wasting players prime and productive years...all for a chance...which still doesn't win isht!

It's counter-productive and the strategy has been used years only to get told nope....

Wasting time and banking on hope is a dumb strategy at this point when you have good pieces already!!

Parsons is a glue player and at worst could have made a mid-year go at Love more doable with good pieces to trade for him (Love)....

The current team will make the playoffs...yay!

But wanting to win a championship NOW instead of holding out hope for someone 2 years from now.....smh...not a good look.

    I'm sick of "hope"

    Cap flexibility doesn't win championships.

What's your point then? What we lose in Parsons' scoring we gain in getting the second best wing defender in free agency. What was one of our biggest issues last season?

And he was great for team marketing. Now we have Howard, Harden, a boob for a coach, the asset collector and the reincarnation of Donald Sterling circa 1990 for an owner for marketing.

How do we look now to FAs?

He'll be an all-star this coming season.

    Book that.

They will make it happen just to prove he was worth the money.

    Everyone needs to chill....

    Let's look at the facts,

-Matching Parsons = 2nd round exit at best.
-No additional money to upgrade the bench
-No deal with Wolves until the 15th, with his consent, Love will be gone.
-Remember the "back spasms?"......could turn into a bad situation.
-Parson's showed NO loyalty for getting paid early AND he knew that contract would cripple us.

Morey knew, our current team constructed AS IS, is not good enough. He had to let Parson become a RFA. He had to get rid of Asik and Lin's contracts.

-Morey kept McFail for recruiting purposes.

-So he had to make a radical move, HELLO!!!! LBJ and Melo on the market!!
-Cuban "shanked" us because he could. Now Dirk's final years will be stuck NEVER getting out of the western conference. If they stay healthy.....
-We were hours away from signing Bosh.
-Signing Ariza at 32 Million was a steal.

Morey's job is tough. I honestly believe that Les wants to win. We don't have enough talent to win it all. That was evident last year.

-We should be lucky that we root for a team, with a GM that has the balls to make drastic moves to become contenders.

-What we really need....is a defensive minded assistant coach (JVG) and a bench. I strongly believe that Murray is working on that.

    Go Rockets......loyal forever.

It's not, but Asik barely played and Lin was inconsistent.

The lovefest for Parsons is real, but he can be replaced. Ariza is a downgrade no doubt, but he helps defensively.

Who said that?? All I said was
    a) replacing Jeremy Lin isn't as easy people think, if it is give me 2 names out there that would do the job
    b) this team took a huge step backwards since Friday.

That is the point, and everyone else high on whatever trying to look at some non-existent bright side because Trevor Ariza is back is crazy!

Who is the #3 option on this team?? Who do we look to score when D12 or Harden rest?? When I see someone else signed we can find a more positive outlook.

But right now this is a disaster.

I damn near sprained my finger...

Funny thing is, I'm still following Lin and Asik

Your statement about Les Alexander is beyond low rent.

still a lot of offseason to play out, Morey will build up the assets again and look to trade for another star, fans just have to be patient

Massive laughs to the people saying Ariza is equal to Parsons. Just shows the stupidity didn't leave with Lin fans.

Just face it, next season is a nothing year where we make up the numbers waiting on a third star.

Morey may have more faith than me. After passing on Rondo for Parsons, Love for Parsons then missing Lebron, Lowry, Melo and Bosh you would think going for depth would be the option.
