Since when did McHale have a system?

Over/under 2 months into regular season of Dallas feeling buyer's remorse over Chandler Parsons?

We should be happy they didn't get Stephenson since he'd be a great get and not as expensive I'd think.

    Smart decision.

We already know that a Howard, Harden, Parsons top3 is not going to get it done especially with a pathetic clueless joke coach in McHale. So why tie down the future by signing Parsons?

The onyl way we would have matched Parsons was if we signed Bosh and we would be going ALL In.

Parsons is a role palyer and role players are a dime a dozen

Ariza has also played pretty well in the playoffs every time he has a chance to.

One thing we know, he doesn't talk much...and he's a veteran. We needed more veteran players on this team.

No, Ariza can't. Ariza can't create his own shot. Ariza has much worse shot selection. Ariza can't pass anywhere near as well as Parsons. Ariza isn't nearly as good on the break as Parsons. Ariza doesn't help the chemistry the way that Parsons does.

Ariza doesn't do any of those things nearly as well as Chandler, and Chandler is younger and has much more potential of getting better.

I just want the Rockets team to be better. With Ariza instead of Parsons they are worse. I don't like the idea of moving in the wrong direction.

Stein has mentioned again, houston and dallas trying to do a S&T, seeking league approval first.

Let's stay on point. Somehow having Jeremy Lin on the roster solved those problems. Got it.

Rockets and Mavericks have expressed willingness to try to hammer out a sign-and-trade IF league will allow them to do so. Might not happen

Not really.....if you check out Mark Berman's twitter from Fox Houston....apparently Parsons told Bev over the phone at 530am they weren't going to match.

Seems like he's know for maybe a day or so now, and it just got out.

He doesn't unless you count "we need to stop, score, stop, score and then we're back in this" as a system.

Funny how there's no mention in your post about Ariza being a better defender than Parsons, even though defense was the biggest reason why we didn't advance in the playoffs.

That contract is way to much for him. Tough to see him go when we didn't have to. Gamble didn't pay off and that's what hurts. We could have just held onto to him and filled up the roster with key players instead of going for a home run. We almost had it but now we have to pick up the pieces. Ariza is a nice start but no matter who we get now, it sucks that we have to gel all over again.

Parsons will have a hard time living up to that contract as the highest paid Mav

don't just go nuts because he left
