I blame the fans for crying about treating his players like assets. He reads clutchfans so who knows with the amount you see that crap on here for years. You guys da real MVP!

 

Not really. Parsons is definitely replaceable.

 

Not only a wasted offseason, but a step backwards which makes next season a waste. We will just be making up the numbers, a team fighting for the lower playoff seeds.

 

I actually cried when we traded Shane. I love him. He's a class act, great player, amazing mentor, and always left it all on the court. With that said, we turned Shane into assets because Shane was likely gone anyways the next year. Glue guys get you heart, but they by any stretch of the imagination are not irreplaceable.

Why? We replaced Chandler with a player that actually plays defense.

He could have gone after the little things we were missing...a backup PG, a wing defender, a solid backup center, better shooting, resigned Parsons and gone to war next year.

Now we are APPRECIABLY worse. There is NO QUESTION we are not better but worse than last year.

Excellent moves to deal Lin, not match Parsons, and sign Ariza. Hopefully Morey will fill out the roster with seasoned veterans like maybe Mike Miller, Birdman, etc who make minimal mistakes and understand what it takes to win in the playoffs. That's been the primary problem the past two years. Must get out of the youth movement and into win now mode. We have plenty of star power with Dwight and James, just need to surround them with solid veterans.

 

D12 will be pissed that is for sure,Harden will go to a strip Club.

At 15 million with a trade kicker, Parsons is a negative value contract. He'd be damned hard to trade in general, much less for a 3rd star.

With Howard, Harden and Parsons taking up the entire cap, and Parsons being largely un-tradeable, how do you suggest they acquire the kind of talent to compete for championships?

This stings like a mofo, but it was the move that had to be made.
