So they also just told Dwight and Harden that we don't think you can win it this year no matter what at this point. I mean, what owner and GM tells their two superstars that?
Morey's moves have been right. He had to take the bet on Bosh this offseason. If you had a chance to give the max to Bosh or Parsons, you'd hold out on Parsons even if there's a risk of getting neither because we have the ability to make moves to improve our roster any time there's an opportunity to be had. Some people on this board get frustrated when the best don't play out, and rightfully so, but firing Morey isn't going to improve this front office. We have one of the best front offices in the NBA.
Sometimes I wish Clutch would just start over with a different named site. I have NEVER heard of so many crying babies in my life.
He gambled. He gambled without a semblance of a contingency plan. Unless the contingency plan was to piss off the two superstars we have now and gamble again in a year.
SC; Im trying not to overreact. Morey and his star gazing, has just gotten to me. Its time to put the telescope away. lol
Looking at your name, I haven't felt this bad during an off season since we let Dream go to Toronto. THIS IS THE WORST OFF SEASON SINCE THEN IMHO.
The consequence, Les: attendance will drop. You keep churning the roster, even the male fans will start to lose attachment to the Rockets. The Rox will be your franchise rather than our team. You sure you don't want to reconsider this move before you regret losing our Team USA guy?
Nah man, that was worse lol. We still have Dwight and Harden. Morey got shafted hard by Bosh. And he gambled big on Parsons. this is the unfortunate result
this and Ariza are the only glimmer that we still have this summer <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Looks like I got SOMETHING right in the past 24 hours. Rockets rolled Asik trade into 3-team S&T for Ariza, preserving $8.4M Lin TPE.</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/statuses/488456983235018752">July 13, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
We had the fifth best record in the NBA. We lost a series that was tied in points. 4 plays go another way and we challenge the eventual champs in the 2nd round. Stop overreacting.
I realize this offseason has not been the best, but there are still reasons to be excited. We still have a pretty good starting 5, we just need depth. It's not really Morey's fault, as far we are all concerned we had Bosh, Miami just through a max at him, and there was nothing we could do. In due time, Bosh's contract will be the worst in the NBA. Morey took a gamble and he was close to creating a surefire contender in Houston, but we got unlucky. IF you believe Morey is not a good GM, I can understand. BUT who are we gonna hire to replace him? Who is better than Morey right now? If you're gonna propose something this extreme, you need to have an alternative.
Its Feigens tweet that got me mad. But i've calmed down some. I think the wrong move is waiting until 2015. There are still players to be had right now. As ****ty as it sounds to most of you. But, this waiting until next summer plan that Fiegen is going on about, SUCKS! Please do not do this Morey!
