I agree, but I think it's also easy for us to say they should do it - meanwhile a lot of posters here would have hesitated to include Parsons (before his big contract) in a package had it been an option. Historically - a lot of these superstars that get traded go for pretty unimpressive packages and the TWolves have to trade him or lose him for nothing. It's hard to commit to trading a guy like Wiggins when you think you might be able to get Love without him.
If we still have asik. I think omer asik + Terrance jones + who ever else and draft picks if we have it. I think that's a swell trade. I mean I think asik has a lot of value honestly. He's one of the few true centers. Guy is a rebounding machine. That's if asik is not gone
Hmm, not sure how likely that is to happen but could warrant consideration from Houston when putting forth an offer for Love (not that we are really that much in the mix anyways).
Nothing really. Just that it's interesting. I think the FO is still fixated on getting a 3rd star. If there's a way a move could impede the pusuit of said star, it has to be carefully evaluated and vetted.
They won't need to part with Wiggins. They have plenty of assets. Only Boston can come close and Love won't commit. We can't even come remotely close.
I'm wondering if Morey is begging Hinkie to facilitate a three team trade with Minny and Houston. Or if he's even considered it.
Not bad. Gordon's reputation has taken a pretty big hit. Minny would want more players if they were getting Gordon and Jones
This comes to the forefront now. The rockets didn't think they were good enough with Parsons, which means they are targeting someone else. Love, Dragic, Rondo, Bledsoe. Those are my guesses.
I agree, that's the most logical reason I can think of for declining parsons. I just hope it'll be this off season and not the trade deadline or next off season. No news on Asik trade is a good sign
Yep. You don't let Parsons walk for nothing AND waste a year of Howard/Harden unless you believe you can add someone else significant. Just doesn't make sense.
How do you suppose this works? LeBron's cap hold would be bigger than his salary if he didn't opt out. No way they could fit them both.
