We lose Asik, Parsons, Lin, and our 1st for Ariza. Yay! Not 1...not 2...not 3 but 0.

Let's see what else Morey does this offseason

I wonder how Howard feels about this? I understand hes going to say he has to do whats best for him....but this HAS to piss him off.

Thanks for the good years Parsons, good luck in Dallas.

    The knee jerk has begun.

We are far, far, far away from the lotto. Especially seeing as how the offseason isn't even over yet. It's not like our team is set right now.

There's no question about it, he came here to win and that's not going to happen now.

Don't believe you or Roe - he said we would resign Parsons.

So after "A New Era" and "This Is H-Town," how would you like the job of coming up with the Rockets' 2014-15 marketing slogan?

    Well, we tried?

Pathetic off season by the Rox front office at this point.

Let's be realistic people. Parsons doesn't make or break this team.

I can't see how Dwight, Harden and Bev can be happy with this off season AT ALL. They have to try to build chemistry with new teammates, but no new star...for what? A team that got bounced in the first round last season. No wonder Harden isn't working out lately.

this is hilarious, while i love this move, it definitely makes us worse.

i love that it was cuban who overpaid and that parsons probably thought we were 100% going to match. this hopefully puts him somewhat in place and tells him, look you sucked in the playoffs and don't deserve that contract. but...at the same time, he could potentially become a really really good player. in normal times, i doubt he would ever become a player that turns into a $14.xx million / year player, but he is (in my opinion) still better than ariza and much younger.

you're right. chandler is about 1/4 the defensive player that ariza is.

Well, it's not going to happen this year, so you're willing to throw away one of the better young players in the league for the CHANCE that someone will be willing to sign here next offseason without Boshing us leading into Dwight's last year? For two years of an unhappy Dwight? Ok.
