I don't see why the Rockets couldn't just trade Asik then use cap space to sign Miller then match Parsons.

Miller was great last year, but can you count on that again? If yes, I'd agree with you.

I doubt Miller wants to sign with the Rox if they already have Parsons and Ariza at SF.

If we match Parsons we still have the MLE correct? Maybe we offer him 3.5 million per year, more than Cleveland and less than Denver (maybe at this stage he takes a small cut to sign with a contender).

He would be HUGE off the bench for us.

Parsons, Ariza, Daniels, Johnson ... there is absolutely no room for another wing on this team.

Whats the point of having him and troy Daniels? I can see if we don't resign troy, signing Mike. If we dont match Parsons as well then I understand trying to nab him. If we keep Parsons and Daniels then Mike is redundant.

Him and Ray Allen are probably going to the Cavs. Both would be KILLER on the Rockets though with our 3 ball offense

Could be a sign that they actually are looking to let Parsons walk. The fact that it's been so quiet today as well isn't a good sign. You would at least see a flurry of activity to try and sign someone else before hand or to get the Asik deal finalized.

If I'm right Morey will have some explaining to do.

Rather have the cheaper, younger Daniels.

Plenty of room for Ariza, Parsons and Miller on this team IMO. Y'all want an undersized stretch 4 so bad - Miller is that guy. Underrated rebounder. Underrated basketball player really, he does more than just shoot. He's gritty. Injury prone but gritty.

Parsons and Harden are going to be playing like 35 minutes a game, Ariza around 30 and Daniels around 15. Plus you have Johnson who can also play SG.

That's 115 minutes and only 96 minutes between the SF and SG position. Parsons will have to play PF just to be able to get starting minutes.

Absolutely no room, or need for Miller unless we don't match Parsons.

I'm starting to think Morey is running the Rox like he did his FFL Draft with Lance Z--acquiring all of the wings so that teams will have to come to him to deal (he did this with RBs).

I wouldn't want Miller to replace Parsons. Miller is a great shooter and decent passer, but he's been injury prone in the past. MEM limited his minutes last year and he held together pretty well. I think at this point what we have (if we keep them all) with Parsons, Ariza and Daniels is a better route. We need a vet 4/5 more than another wing.
