Sign and trade picks or Capella Johnson etc to Indiana for lance Stephenson ... We go into next season and let harden play point Stephenson guard the opposing point . Beverly comes off bench as defensive spark plug . Or bev can start .. There is a way to get bev harden and Stephenson ~ 30 minutes a piece at guard spots and James / Stephenson could slide to forward in a pinch .
what is Harden's value? Will it be higher or lower at this time next year? He will have at the least the best wing defender on him maybe both wings without Parsons to make the other team honest. He will still try to be a hero -- making his vaule drop. He plays like Kevin Martin with an attitude. We need to sell high on him and fill in the holes while we still have Howard under contract.
Now that Trevor Ariza is apart of our team, can anyone help me in finding some reputable defensive analytics to see how he could mesh with Harden/TJones? Any help would be much appreciated.
This is a very simplistic metric: Parsons was world class crap as a defender last season. Ariza is, at worst, an average defender. Therefore Ariza will mesh a lot better with Harden/TJones than Parsons.
Bulls have an excess of power forwards, Suns have an excess of point guards. Both owners are cheap. I think the names we should look at are Gibson or Mirotic from CHI, and/or Dragic or Bledsoe from PHX.
I was looking for trade targets that could help the team without hurting the future. NETS PF Mirza Teletovicthis year $3,368,100 2015 FA IND PF Luis Scola this year $4,500,000 2015 FA
why would the bulls care for that now? they potentially could be the best team in the east provided rose is healthy this year don't see them just giving away dunleavy and gibson especially since they're out of the melo race
Mirotic just tweeted that he is definitely going to be a Bull next season, Chicagos 4 spot just got real crowded even if they amnesty Boozer. And even though Thibs did not get his #1 target in Melo, he still accomplished his goal about creating more space and increasing scoring by the acquisitions of McDermott, Gasol and now Mirotic. Taj Gibson still looks like the odd man out and may not have many minutes left, with Gasol as starting 4, Mirotic as stretch 4 and Pau even seeing time as backup 5. Gibson's value as defensive specialist is mitigated by Pau being a very good defender & rim protector in his own right. But what does Morey have to offer Chicago for Gibson? Maybe cap space if Dwyane rumors are true.
Sign Tracy McGrady. I think TMac would dominate Parsons in a 1v1 game to 50 by twos and threes if they played tomorrow afternoon. Bring Back TMAC! P.S. This is a random thought open for discussion
