No, just putting myself in Les's shoes. No reason to burn $46M for a player of Parson's caliber. He doesn't add much to team and hurts cap space and Les's wallet for no particular gain.
They lost out on Deng, Ariza...and VC going to Grizz. We match Parsons and the Mavs had an extremely lackluster offseason
Was Parson's a factor in Portland series? Yes or No? Was he a factor vs OKC the year before? His replacement value is close to zero. He's already been replaced with Ariza. Let Cuban choke on his wasted $46M. Let him be tied up and unable to bid on free agents the next three years.
Not to mention if we match Parsons, we'll have solidified our SF position to where Parsons won't have to play 40 mins a game without too much of a fall off on the court. That can only help the team once they get to the playoffs.

1. Why doesn't harden say anything? 2. Is this source legit? 3. Does this mean we are leaning towards not matching? 4. Why does DMo have a say?
I have a hard time seeing Dwight happy if we don't match. I hope Morey genuinely welcomes what the other players are saying. We have to match.
only reason he says no is for Love. if he matches there is no way we can get the pieces needed for the trade. If we say no, I suspect love. My opinion though
I should have looked at the guy's posting history...after people piled on Cyberx I felt bad for the guy
i am so down for that, but like bosh, there's no guarantee i think it's morey's best bet to play it safe this time.
