I was one of the ones originally who thought.. Wow can this get any worse (Friday).
But.. after stepping back for a little bit and remembering the gentleman we have at GM there at Toyota Center I've come to believe this may all work out at the trade deadline.

After striking out this summer are we now preparing for a big move at the trade deadline? Thoughts on the below players?

Rajon Rondo - Celtics will be more motivated the closer he comes to being UFA
Ricky Rubio - Restricted in 2015 but I truly believe he would fit in so well here (I really don't care if he can shoot the three - He can facilitate our offense so well and is a good defender
    Millsap -

LOL when the big fish is Ariza the headcase chucker who got dumped just couple years ago. Remember how that punk tried to start a fight when losing to the lowly Toronto and get ejected? Yeah... Good job FO!

Are you being sarcastic? Rubio is a solid defender.

Agreed. I was just surprised someone else mentioned his ability on D.
Most circles only give him props for his court vision and skills as a passer, all the while harping on his struggles as a shooter. My buddy calls him a "Spanish Steve Nash", just disrespectful.

LOL Steve Nash was an excellent shooter and a mediocre defender who hustled his a$$ off

LOL yea he means it as an insult, saying both Nash and Rubio point guards on offense but play Matador defense.
What can I say, he got game but doesn't do well evaluating others.

Nope, as a long time Rox fan, I have the right to remind other fans the horror of Ariza.

this thread is about acquiring someone at the trade deadline not FA acquisitions
why don't you keep copying and pasting your thoughts on ariza on another ariza thread? you're the first ariza only hater on the board.

Hopefully Ariza connects one of those elbows on Bosh when we meet Miami.

You know what, Ariza's elbow isn't scary enough, we need Artest's elbow, lets sign artest to BAE just to have him elbow Bosh like he did Harden.

    Who's down?

I dont get a good feeling about this signing.

If he plays like he did 13/14, then it'd be fantastic.
If like any of the other years (post LA), then *shakes head*.

Ummm... who was guarding him? I dare not speculate.

And if it is like in the clip, how come our 2 is guarding their #3?
He does play at the 3, no?

And if he does play at the #3, it points to us not matching the
offer for our current #3. Ah well.
