Why would the warriors facilitate this, they get nothing in return for their second best offensive weapon
No way they do that trade. A couple of late first rounders? You can buy those picks. And Thompson is a really nice player. They have to get more back in return. Minnesota won't give up any of their first rounders - so probably one of the young guns from the Cavs. I don't even like that trade for the TWolves. Love should net you more than two nice but not great players. Either go for likely lottery picks or for a player that could turn into a star. Really, the Cavs are making out like bandits in that trade.
Yep... weird. They wouldn't give up Klay for Love, but would for multiple 1st round picks? Picks are nice, but aren't the in "win now" mode?
Possibly still a long way away:

More on Cavs/Wolves/Warriors possible trade. They should trade Anthony Bennett/Waiters for Klay. Call it a morning, and then the Cavs send Wiggins, Thompson/2first for Love. Cavs-Kyrie,Klay,Lebron,Love,Varajeo.....allen,miller,etc Eww. Just eww. Cleveland wins. Multiple years.
I think the darkhorse in the Love stakes is Phoenix. They have a ton picks (perfect for a Minny rebuild) and have like 3 starting caliber PG's. Minny would be stupid not to accept something along the lines of Dragic plus multiple picks for Love. I hope the Rockets move fast and somehow nab either Dragic or Beldsoe.
