If Ginobili is willing to why no Parsons? Harden sacrificed a lot for the betterment of OKC. I would love it if Parsons came off the bench.

LOL Come on folks! Cat was clearly being sarcastic.

He was poking fun of the ten posts in a row that said Florida had no state tax.

Ariza? Horrible. Among the most difficult to watch players in the NBA. No league pass for me this year.

You mean like with Beverley/Lin last year? Why wouldn't you put the 3&D guy with Harden and the all-around player on the bench with likely no shot creators?

Seriously, when you look at all of the other contracts being given out this year, Ariza at 8M per is fantastic. I even like the decreasing pay scale.

I was expecting him to get somewhere around 10-12 this offseason. With the way other signings were going, I thought that would have been within range.

Ariza isn't a huge splash, but for 8M per, I think this is a great signing.

Morey missed out on all the home runs so far, but he finally hit a single in signing Ariza at 8M/per. Ariza is a better 3 pointer shooter and defender than Parson, at half the price. Not bad.

Cuban signs a 12 million dollar player to 15. Morey signs a 10 million dollar player to 8.

You're right, Charlotte did have a really good year last season, but Williams doesn't deserve $7 million per year. And to think, the Hawks drafted him ahead of Deron Williams and Chris Paul in 2005. And that's because ATL acknowledged drafting him "on potential", even though they also needed a PG at that time, and there were 2 "sure thing" PGs for them to choose.

It's a steal and he fits the second best need on the team. People just keep remembering him trying to create off the dribble and now bad he sucked at it. He's not going to do that here

Just curious, how soon before Ariza can be traded?

    Not bad at all.

We don't know what the Rockets will do, but I still expect them to match on Parsons. Then Ariza would not only help with our defense and 3-point shooting, but also help tremendously with the wing depth that we desperately needed

The big question about the Ariza signing is of course Parsons. If they match Parsons, are we going to have another "The numbers are clear" article on who should be the starting SF? And the Jones-DMo debate is still not settled.

    Oh dear...

I'm hoping Deng, Marion, Lance and all those other guys sign soon so the Mavs are left with garbage. Just like their city.

I guess we can just hold out hope that they'll keep Parsons and use Ariza as a 6th man.
