You thought you were being cute. If you would have read correctly.....I said they all got 1 great BIGMAN Duncan plays C but is listed as a PF Diaw is their PF Who guarded Howard when we played the Spurs? Duncan/Splitter
That looks to be about were the market is maybe closer to 4M a year Let Parsons walk, please for the sake of the future let him walk. (think Scola after his 2nd contract with the ROX / it just wasn't the same was it?) MAKE the Suns pay to keep Bledsoe. (ties up their cap space or we take him WIN / WIN) Bring over the stashed talent -- NOW IS THE TIME (playing time for those how can earn it) make a small trade with DMo (he will walk next year anyway) to fill in a need - (2nd round rookie wing - super cap friendly) McDainle and Grant of the 6'ers
Hayward for max is crazy talk, Parsons for max is crazy talk, Meeks for 6 million is crazy talk, Hill for 9 million is crazy talk, Frye for 8 million is crazy talk, Bosh re-signing with the Heat after James left is crazy talk. This whole f'n off season is nuts, but what's even more nuts is the Rockets not improving there damn what so ever roster from the 2013-14 season after all this BS. So yes i'd happily give Blatche and Augustin 5 million dollar contracts. Look up their advanced stats, they would actually be really nice additions if we were to retain Parsons or add Ariza.
Wasting money. Parsons will come back and play but the team as a whole will be stuck in mediocrity. People will have all this great white hope in Parsons and he ain't gonna live up to it. Dwight and Harden will play well but overall we will always be one or two pieces away and once we blow it up then we will finally fire Mchale and hire a really great coach to inherit a team that has no stars and by then we will completely suck that's Houston sports.
Wha?? Augustin and Lin are essentially a wash. Parsons and Ariza would be at best a wash (Parsons better offensively, Ariza better defensively). But in what universe is Blatche even close to Asik? If this is the best we do this off-season, McHale and Morey will both be looking for new jobs...
More than half these "fans" have that same attitude. It's one thing if we are in the Kings situations, but **** we have 2 freakin Superstars. Why the hell are we giving up, we are going to be solid. Who the hell picked the Blazers to even make it last year, and they beat us. You never know.
Let's not be the obnoxious spoiled fans here - most teams would be lucky to get one offseason as good as Morey has had in the last two.
Idk if its this thread, but plowman was saying something BIG will be happening, anyone aka insiders can follow up on this?
