Haven't read through this thread but if we end up with boozer, this will officially be the worst rockets offseason in history. I don't know how anybody from houston can root for boozer.

Are all non guarantee'd contracts, adding up to 12+ million, that's HUGE.

If we wanted we could package non guaranteed contracts (12 million) with Jones, Motiejunas, Canaan (3.8 million) then we can trade for 19 million dollars in salary (120% of 16)

12 million unguaranteed, Jones, Capela, Johnson, Motiejunas, Canaan, rights to Llull, Papanikolaou, Pelicans 2015 1st, Rockets 2017 1st, Bulls pick, multiple future second rounders

Is what we can offer in a big trade for possibly Love or Rondo, while matching Parsons and keeping our MLE.

 

We at CF are sometimes delusional. People thinking Butler or Gibson will be thrown in by CHI just to help Pau get more money in a S&T? Yeah...not happening. Those are highly valued assets. Had we had the room for Boozer, then Boozer and rights to Mirotic sound legit.

Im the minority I think, but I always loved Boozers game, he is a really good fit next to Dwight and he he is a vet. The only way the deal gets better is if we get Butler or first round pick.

Who says we are out? They could do it without us - if Gasol is ok with leaving 5 million on the table or if Chicago amnestys Boozer.

The whole reason why we are in is, because we can swallow that big contract (once Asik is dealt) and our owner isn't cheap. Chicago would probably be very willing to give us Boozer. The question is what more we request from Chicago.
