bulls: james, amundson, brewer = 4.069M

new orleans: ely, babbit = 1.316M
    gee via cavs = 3M

    rockets: casspi, powell = 2.373M

That's 11.115M of fully unguaranteed money to use in a trade

Not if we match Parsons, too.

Nothing here about the Rockets in a potential sign & trade.

[rQUOTEr]Free-agent center Pau Gasol is nearing an agreement to sign with the Chicago Bulls, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The Bulls and Lakers have been working on a sign-and-trade package to bring Gasol to the Bulls on a multiyear contract that starts at approximately $10 million a year, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

If a sign-and-trade doesn't come together, the Bulls will sign Gasol to a multiyear deal with a salary starting in the $6.5 million-a-year range, sources said.

Once the Bulls began to believe they had lost out on free agent Carmelo Anthony in recent days, they moved to make the deal for Gasol. For the Bulls, Gasol joins a frontline that includes All-Star Joakim Noah and forward Taj Gibson. The Bulls are considering using the amnesty clause on the final year of forward Carlos Boozer's contract.

Gasol, 34, turned down a two-year, $22 million deal to stay with the Lakers in recent days, signaling an end to his seven-year run that included two NBA championships.

Gasol averaged 17.4 points and 9.7 rebounds for the Lakers last season. In 13 NBA seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies and Lakers, Gasol has averaged 18 points and nine rebounds.

I might vomit a little if Boozer gets traded to the Rockets.

I'm cool with boozers expiring, maybe we can get dunleavy or butler as a sweetne, jones/Howard/boozer is a ok big rotation gives us some size

    - sets solid picks
    - active loud on D
    - solid frame, no way LMA goes crazy on him
    - big rebounder
    - can shoot the mid range
    - vet

Why has the Asik trade still not happened? This is ridiculous, I'd tell them to clear the space today or it's off.

No way the Rockets get involved if its not one of these players coming back -

    -Bulter (best case scenario)
-Gibson (upgrades the Rockets defense to elite front line)
    -Dunleavey (3rd best.. value contract)
-Mirotic (don't think he's eligible to be traded but not sure)
-Boozer (probably getting a draft asset if that's the case... which they need after doing the Lin deal prematurely).

There is no point in doing the deal for just non-guaranteed salary As Feigan is reporting. The Bulls could just waive those deals themselves. No point in adding the Rockets if one of the 4 players aren't involved in this deal.

The only reason Houston would be involved is to take on Boozer, otherwise there is no point

The owner is a cheapskate. They thought about amnestying Boozer but they didn't. The dude is owed 16 million dollars. I think paying 16 million dollars for a player worth 6 is crazy unless he comes with Mirotic and/orButler. Gibson/Noah/Gasol is plenty for their big man rotation and that's who is going to be there.

The Rockets don't have the cap room to do that. If the Bulls aren't even willing to give up Mike D. It's very likely Morey just wants the fully unguaranteed contracts.

Also, Capela will be with the team this season i think. He wants to unless Morey trades him. So if we're getting Boozer, we will ship out other players like casspi or someone to both Lakers and Bulls maybe.
