I'd love Eric Bledsoe , but I would wish we could pry Goran away instead. I don't think Pierce will leave BRK , but if he did it would be back home with LAC

Before the Parsons deal tomorrow? Lance Stephenson and Paul Pierce!

After that, try to trade for Bledsoe / Dragic and or Millsap.

Butler / Marion, Brooks, Garcia and Daniels are MLE, veterean minimum guys I like!

Which would probably be the first step in a Kevin Love move, but I can't see them giving him up easily. Chicago appears to have conceded a chance at Love by getting Pau. I don't see how Gasol, Noah and Love would make sense.

Les has repeatedly said hed pay the tax for a player that was worth it. There was no player that we could have obtained in Yao-Tmac years that wouldve made it worth it. By the time we finally were able to get a decent team around those guys, both were falling down from injuries.

TMac-Yao Year 1: loss to dallas, wouldve been decent team and diff outcome if Juwon didnt get hurt forcing us to play the Germinator Ryan Bowen

TMac-Yao Year 2: Back spasms for tmac

    Year 3: Yao Injured
Year 4: Yao out for season in feb
Year 5: Tmac out with knee and shoulder probs

Josh Smith probably being easiest to acquire. Paul Millsap in an ideal world.

A package of Illyasova and Zaza. I think both can be had for cheap and we have our TPEs.

Taj Gibson, Trevor Ariza, Dejuan Blair, Andray Blatche, Matt Bonner. Since the big three era seems to be over we need to concentrate on a deeper bench and role players, not sure Parsons is worth 15 mil so we keep him and trade as soon as possible for a couple of really good players.

I want at least three guys with our remaining cap. A wing defender, another PG, and a backup big.

    Wing defenders:
    Ariza
    Stephenson
    Deng

    PG:
    Jameer Nelson
    Sergio Llull!
    Augustin

    Big:
    Okafor
    Keep Asik!
    Birdman

And then I want to match Parsons.

Ideal scenario for me actually would be to get Ariza in as a defender/shooter for 10-11M, then pay Llull 5M x3yrs to be our backup point, then bring in Okafor. Scenario two would be not to trade Asik, sign Ariza and then Jameer on like a 2yr 3-4M deal.

From what I've seen of Morey over the years, he doesn't settle for lesser players in order to fill a roster spot - especially under a time crunch. He seems more inclined to be patient, sign unheard-of and low-cost players that turn out to be very competent, and wait for a better future opportunity.... which we usually love and praise him for.

I suspect he won't match on Parsons (which is a bummer, but probably wise).
I suspect he WON'T sign another player to a high-dollar contract (unless it's an all-star player deal that we haven't thought of).
I suspect he won't sign Ariza (and I hope he doesn't, 'cause I'm not impressed with Ariza)

... and I suspect he'll be patient and continue to build other assets, such as cap space and draft picks.
